Your COmmunity of
REcovery
At CORE, we strive to create a safe environment to explore, begin, maintain, and expand many paths to recovery.
Funded by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services, the CORE is a stigma and judgement free peer-to peer recovery space that offers long-term support to adults 18 years old and up that are recovering from substance use issues. As peer members ourselves, we provide fellowship and the opportunity to belong to a community of peers that are interested in supporting each other in their recovery journey. Other supports we provide include sober events and activities, educational workshops, health & wellness programs and an overall safe place to maintain your recovery.
Peer support allows us to share our experiences with people who understand and have similar lived experience; people who can understand and relate to what you are going through. Your path to recovery is always respected, no matter what form it takes.
Unlike many other service programs, the CORE is driven by decisions made by the peer members themselves and delivered by peers and volunteers. You can be a voice to help create a center that represents you. To become a member, just stop by the CORE and talk to one of our staff, who are peer members themselves.
